We are not affiliated with any funeral home so when the time comes to use the accumulated funds, there are no penalties for using the services of the funeral director of your choice.

It is always prudent to shop around for pricing on a funeral and it is always better, where possible, to have an idea of the quality and cost of services available in you area.

If setting up a funeral fund, it is also recommended that you look at portability of your fund. At MFP we have no geographical limits on where we make payments. Therefore, if you have moved from the area that you began the plan, it just follows you. We do ask that you inform us of any change of address as soon as practical.
